Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July everyone!!!

I hope everyone had a GREAT Independence Day. We had a nice day as well. Tim's brother Rob was here for a visit and we had a nice time going to Lake Lanier and then to the Mall of Georgia for the Annual Fireworks Show. I love Independence Day. I love what it stands for, I love the people who died to give us this day and I love that it's slap in the middle of Summer, my favorite time of the year!

Here, while we wait for the action to begin, Tim and Rob debate the finer points of Farkle. Tim loves this game for some reason and plays it every chance he gets....I unfortunately do not follow in his love of this particular dice game.

I, however, had the last book in the series of my vampire chronicles to read. (The next one comes out in October!!) So I decided to for go Farkle. As I said before, not my favorite game...

Bendi also decided to get into the Spirit of 1776...she decided to sit herself on my table....A very big KITTY NO NO!!!!!

The fireworks show was beautiful, and lasted about 15 minutes. Now, just waiting for next year!
