Growing up Kitty

This week the kittens have begun teething, they are getting bigger and more mobile. They still like to sleep a lot though.

Also this week I began decorating for the fall time. I got my dining room finished and Tim put Halloween lights up for me on the front door. I'm not usually a "fall time" person, but the weather has been perfect and that ever so slight chill in the air has me in the mood for autumn.

Here the kittens are busy with their full time job of cat napping.

Emmett is so good with them, he loves to groom them and take care of them. Which is quite unusual since he's a hand fed cat, (hand fed by yours truly)...

Here Tim is putting my Halloween lights up....Emmett is trying to escape there at the bottom of the picture...still a very bad kitty :)

And we have success....

While Tim was putting the lights out on the back deck, Maverick decided to take a rare moment to himself outside. Here he is wanting back into the house, how sad....

And of course here Maverick is doing what he does best. Sleeping.

Growing up is hard to do....

Well, the kittens are growing fast, and boy are they cute!! We give them time to run around and build up those little kitty muscles is their legs. Looks like one or two of them are doing pretty good climbing up on Tim!

The little boy liked to climb up on me. He's so cute and fat...guess his foster mommy is feeding him well!! :) Of course when the kittens are out, the other cats like to see what is going on. Here Emmett is checking out the babies...

Tim is so good with them. He even helps me "poop" and "pee" the kittens. Hopefully in a couple of weeks they will be ready to learn about the litter box!! I know I will be ready for that.

They got so big, that I decided to make the big move to the garden tub in our master bath. We filled it with plenty of warm towels and all their toys. They seem to be able to move about pretty well and were sleeping soundly at last check...

Not to be outdone with attention, Emmett decided to let his presence be known. It was an absolutely beautiful day (after all this rain) so we let the cats out on the deck. Emmett did his level best to get my attention...AND HE DID !!!!!! Look at this mess!

And just look at this sorrowful face....ummm humm.....bad kitty!

Of course my precious Maverick never does anything wrong. Here he is about to go to sleep in Tim's chair...he's my baby boy!!
