New Week, Some New Pictures...

This past weekend, I actually went camping. Yes, I, Victoria Dahl, went to sleep in a tent on the ground. It was....shall we say, unusual. Being that I only like camping at the Hilton it was quite an experience for me. Thankfully we camped at the Astin's lake house and I was not far from the house or kitchen or the bathroom or the living room....

I did not take many pictures. I wasn't looking my best all tired and wild eyed from a night of hearing scratching and sniffing at my head. I can only imagine that it was a dog...or a raccoon...or a doe...being the animal professional that I am, I opted to remain calm and wait out the unwelcome sniffer by holding my breath and not moving for 10 minuets. Below is the only existing picture (I think) of me camping.

We did have fun though. Had a nice campfire grill dinner, huge campfire with smores and a nice white wine sangria...it was fun for all of us. As soon as dusk hit, Christian was the first one at the fire to make Smores. I have never seen a child so excited to build a fire and eat a chocolate cover marshmallow graham cracker cookie!!

Leah followed closely behind, however if you look ever so carefully in the background, you can see that Brady beat her to it and is chomping on his smore...
